| PCI VGA Graphics Card support to 1368x768 resolution
I am using PIII PC with wide LCD TFT monitor. I have ATI Rage PCI VGA card to support extended resolution which can support up to 1400x1200. But the monitor is of native resolution of 1368x768. But there is no option in display properties to change resolution to 1368x768. Now I going to change my VGA card s that I can get it. So please provide me one economic. |

Hi, Please make sure that your card has at least 4MB of video RAM. first try to setting it in 16bit color, then change your LCD resolution. It also help using ATi drivers, instead generic Rage Windows driver. I am not sure if those ATi drivers had an option to create user defined resolution. The best one was a custom made by someone, combining beta and released drivers.

Following are the Graphics Card support which have support to1366 x 768 resolutions i) try ati radeon 7500 as the ATI Radeon 7500 is good for a long line with strong chipsets. but some times its performance falls short. But the card offers have good advantages, alos ATI has dropped price from $199 to $149 also with dual-display support ii)ONVIDIA Quadro NVS 50 PCI 64Mb DVI w/TVut:-(The NVIDIA Quadro NVS 50 Graphics Controller is a low profile PCI graphics card. This cost-effective single-monitor configuration includes 64MB of DDR frame buffer memory, and VGA and S-Video output ports) iii) 128mb ATI Saphire PCI Video Card, DVI and VGA output Last edited by Archibald : 12-11-2009 at 10:40 AM. |

To change the resolution to 1366x 768 please confirm that your card has at least 4MB of video RAM. initialy try to change setting it in 16bit color, and then change your LCD resolution. It can help using ATi drivers, instead generic Rage Windows driver. I am not confirmed if ATi drivers had an option to create user defined resolution. |
