Problem with Game resolution

Hi,
I have IBM desktop and Nvidia geforce 5 series grphic card,my screen resolution is 1024*768.when i open any game it comes half on the screen means with low resolution.It shows everything big.I did all the changes i changed game resolution screen resolution but nothing happened.
Please tell me how can i get rid of this problem.

You can try uninstalling them and using a generic driver. You need to make sure nothing is checked under "Display Settings". You can make your resolution custom using the console in any valve game. I had to do it with some mods because they were defaulting to my native resolution. For more information you can check out the following links.

Nvidia geforce 5 series graphic card have become outdated. You may not be able to run all the games at full resolution on this graphics card. Nvidia geforce 5 series graphic card was a low end graphics card and you will not be able to run most of the games with full resolution...
