Imac Display problem

Hello, I have recently bought a new Imac touch at my place and I have got some issues with it. If I try to turn this computer on then it will just stay blank and nothing will be displayed on the screen. Does that means that either the video card or maybe the motherboard could be at fault. I dont know what to do and if someone can help me then it would be great. Thanks

Can you please tell us the model no. of your iMac pc? You can try to hook it up with another monitor and also with a proper adapter to see if its the monitor at fault or not. Do you hear aby sound or if you can possibly see a light to know that its working and turning on?

Hello everyone!

I am a happy (so far) owner of a Macbook Pro, and now have a unibody Macbook, I use a second screen Samsung LCD 22 ", which went perfectly on my Macbook Pro.

However, since I purchased my new machine, and a mini display port adapter> VGA, my screen reboots every 10 minutes by detecting the VGA port.

Is this a known problem? Are there solutions?
