Gateway fpd1730 monitor power saving mode

I have a P4 machine running Windows Xp SP2 on it. Now the problem is that my monitor goes into power save mode while in the middle of a 3d game or 3d accelerated applications. It was working fine, but suddenly it started to get such error message on my system. Any idea why does my pc shows gateway fpd1730 monitor power saving mode? Any suggestions on the above issue? Please help me with the above issue.

Have you turned off all power saving options, except monitor, in windows? How do you know that this is a power saving mode? Make sure the video card is seated into the motherboard correctly.

It might be possible that you might be causing such problem due to the following things.

1) Possibility of power supply unit being faulty and failing one.
2) Ram being faulty one or needs to been removed and reseating.
3) Chances of graphics card being faulty one and needs to be removed and reseating it.
4) It might also be possible that your motherboard might be faulty one.

According to me it seems to be more like a possible of being heat problem or might be a video driver problem. I have 5 internal fans that keep inside temperature between 75 and 95 degrees.
