    Graphic card Oven trick

    I got a 8900 gt that is dead and it is not under warranty, i have given this card to many people to make this work i have searched in net on how to fix a dead card , i found many thing but nothing worked till now yesterday i saw a thread in a forum about reaping a dead video card by putting it in the oven please help me on this have any one in this forum tried it does any one know will this work . i would like to fix this card but not damage it more

    Thanks for the infomration and the , now i am thinking of doing it but can any one explain me how to do it step by step . and what things should i have !

    You need to remove the

    Here are the following you need to do :
    • You need to remove heatsink and thermal paste
    • Remember your oven temp should be 385F to 400F
    • You need foil paper and roll it all over the graphic card .
    • Now lay foil over the oven rack .
    • You need to make 4 balls of foil , it need to be 4cm high .
    • Note when the oven is heated properly with the correct temperature, put the graphic card inside it on the 4 balls .
    • Leave it for 6-10 mins if it goes more then that it will melt .


    PLEASE DO THIS ALONE , keep a cam and show it to us what you have done .
