Problem with 3D RAGE IIC AGP

Help Someone! Anyone?

Hello all you "someones" and "anyones" out there. I'm glad to know you. I'm not very good at computers, I just struggle along. In my life I have used them mostly for developing class syllabi, exams, memos, professional letters, and junk like that. So, don't expect too much of me.

The problem I have with my XP professional, Windows, is that I can't get
my computer to stand-by. When I go through the motions to get that result, I get a message that "3D RAGE IIC ACAGP' " is preventing it. Most recently I got a message that this happened when I clicked on something or other freebie from Microsoft. Whooeee!

Oh please, tell me I am in the right place that will have the right answer for
me. Amen.
