You dont have pxi-e card so you have to go with AGP but my suggestion is better to upgrade motherboard and processor AS AGP is costly and not satisfied performance check here for agp card price Agp Cards Price List

    Re: Advice a graphics card

Just buy a new motherboard and cpu. Upgrading this wil cost you a fortune. Memory for this motherboard is 4 times more expensive then for the new one. Graphic card is also 30-40% more expensive. If you want to buy after all I suggests ati 9600xt, or something newer but buy a used card, don't worth to buy a new on that configuration. I had a something like that and when I saw the prices for upgrading just buy all new stuff. It costs me a litlle more than upgrading but now I have a machine that's good, safe for working, and do not make any problems at all. One more thing, if you are low on a budget go for AMD it's cheaper, I did.

    Advice a graphics card

I would suggest you to buy a new system it's seems outdated and at the same time if you go for buying any agp graphic card that will be very costly as compared to current graphic card, in that case nowadays there are many motherboard which has built-in graphic card and i guess they will come in your budget too.

    Re: Advice a graphics card

I just checked on the internet, it seems to be a good card, you should go for it if it's not to expensive, othervise use what you have now and change your system as soon as posible. make sure your comp has a good power suply (minimum is 350W) at least 400W if you want your comp to be without any errors. You will have to buy a new comp now or in six months, and until then your card will have a lower price and probably you will not be able to sell it, and it will collecting dust somewhere in your desk. so think about that.

Yeah! good point psu. I only have 300W. I think I should replace the current one with 500W. Thus I can also use it later.
Thanx I am going for it(Sapphire radeon x1650 pro agp+ 500W psu) in next week. If something better/missing please reply soon.
