This would be a lightweight version of the nForce 680i SLI and use a traditional active cooling (with fan) unlike the nForce 680i, which uses a passive cooling heatpipe. According to The Inquirer, every single G84 and G86 GPU in the 8400M and 8600M series of cards having problem. where both chips are having ASIC there the problem is some heat related issues and that due to core design. |
