    Ati overscan hack

    Hello,

I have a RADEON 7000 card connected to a TV and when I view the Windows desktop I have a small black bars at the top and bottom. If I overscan the image is slightly zoomed and I lose a part of the image at the top and bottom. Is there a way to Configure User Defined HDTV Modes Using ATI CATALYST. I searched on net for the solution but this seems to be a common problem with no real solution. There was some hack fix for nvidia drivers, is there an ATI overscan hack.

    please help me

Here is the tip for you if you want to Configure User Defined HDTV Modes Using ATI CATALYST Control Center. The article published in AMD site provides details on how to configure an ATI Video card to display video on an HDTV using user-defined HDTV modes in the ATI CATALYST Control Center. CATALYST provides enhanced HDTV support enabling a custom set up when the computer does not pick up the Extend Display Identification Data from the HDTV. See here for more details
