Re: Which is the best HDMI Video card

The DVI and HDMI are the most commonly used connections. It is a regular question in the user mind that which one is better. Well if we talk about the DVI and HDMI they both are same in quality wise output. Then only main difference between them is that HDMI can carry both audio and video but both of them uses the same encoding scheme for data transmission. So if we go with DVI/HDMI and Component Video then the first one is better because it supports a range of formats and features. The only difference between both is that the HDMI delivers signal is Digital Format which is very accurate and the other one uses the same Analog signal.

Today's HTPC delivers a high definition audio and video quality. So you will need a better hardware flow for the same. If you want to build you your own then you will consider the best of among the available solutions. Here I will talk about the three video cards which according to me are the best for a HD video output. The first one is RADEON X1300 pro, X1300 pro from GeCube and X1600 from Sapphire.

Re: Which is the best HDMI Video card

I am using a MSI NX7600GT Diamon Plus VGA card. It is best for HDMI output. The card is very simple to install. It easily transfers the audio/video signal from the PC to the HTPC in HD mode. It has a very powerful 3D engine technology which can be very smoothly work with most gaming technology and renders an awesome output.
