Geforce 7600gs Power Requirements

Hi,

My brother has recently bought a PNY Geforce 7600gs AGP 8x video card and install it properly but when i try to use my graphic card i got the message which tells me my card is not receiving enough power and that its performance has been reduced to a safe level and i am trying to use it on Windows XP.Any ideas what's causing this are welcome.

Due to some reason i am only 300W of power supply because my Old power supply which was of 350 W has being burn out and i know that to run Geforce 7600gs we need to have at least 350 W my question is can i run it because i have some important work which has to be done and i don't want to take any risk for it.

Yes if you want to really Run your machine you can use it but make sure you don't use any heavy graphic games like Fall out 3, Counter strike source, Far cry and GTA IV or else your power supply would get burn out and at the same time it will damage your other systems too. So make sure you don't run the above mention games or else i would suggest you to use low power video card.

If you want to sell your AGP graphics card, I am ready to buy it for a good price.
