Directions on how to replace a display inverter in hp pavilion zt3000

I'm having an old Hp Pavilion zt3000 laptop. I would see wavy lines across the screen that appear to be over the image the monitor was displaying, almost like water. I plugged a PC screen in to see if it was a driver problem, but the plugged in screen worked fine. So, it isolated the screen as the problem. I took the monitor out with the cable still attached and it worked when I rebooted. After some time the monitor would present the same black screen after a reboot. Can any body provide me the correct directions on how to replace a display inverter in Hp Pavilion zt3000? Does any body knows about it? Kindly provide me the correct solution for the above issue.

All these effects can be caused by a faults related to the graphics chips. Test with an external monitor to rule out some problems, if the external screen gives the same problems it is most likly the videocard is not working proper.
I do not think it is a windows/driver problem, because a normal reboot should then display a POST screen with Compaq logo etc.

Change the display of light through the strength of composition and color, so it must be behind the establishment of a light source.Try another inverter as it is the easier to replace one. I only hope the GPU (videocard) is not intergratied in the motherboard itself, otherwise you may have to replace the whole board.

Some video problems also require a motherboard repair as most video chips are soldered onto the system board. The problem seems to be with modular video card and the inverter. The video card connectors to the motherboard over time came loose, short circuit the video and the inverter.
