Optiplex 745 dual monitor video card

I had been working with several identical Dell Optiplex 745 systems. The system is currently running on Windows XP Pro 2003 and the Graphics Driver appears to support multiple monitors. I would like to add a graphics card to this system to enable dual monitors. The problem I am having is that I need a low-profile graphics card. Is the Optiplex 745 capable of supporting that set up? Can any body provide me the correct solution for the above issue? Any kind of help on the above issue would be appreciated.

The Optiplex line is a business quality desktop computer from Dell. If you're not running games, pretty much any card with dual outputs will meet your needs. Even old PCI cards.

A work around for that was to add a startup program in System-- > Preferences-- > Personal-- >Sessions (the start up command). It appears that I can not enable any desktop effects or use compiz, but I think I will probably get a real graphics card. It depends on your system, some disable the onboard video when an additional card is installed, some do not. In most cases i have seen, if the 2nd card is PCI it will not disable the onboard (which a PCIe card would almost certainly do).

One DVI that supports a wide screen would be fine. If you have Onboard video with a VGA connector then your options are to add a video card with dual monitor capability. I would opt for a PCI-E dual monitor capable card.
