Converter boxes and vcr taping

Hi,
I have HDTV converter box and VCR connected to my computer. I record my favorite shows from VCR. I cannot record TV programs with converter box connected. Can anyone help me to find out the solution for this?

You need two converters if you want to record another TV program when you are watching something. But you can do so with VCR its with built in tuner. You can watch one program and record another. Get one converter for the VCR to restore your ability to record and watch TV at the same time.

Follow this steps:

• Unplug your antenna from your VCR.
• Then plug your antenna into your digital converter box and VCR.
• Plug your digital converter box to TV port and Antenna In port on VCR.
• Now select your TV
• Then put VCR on matching channel with TV
• Now you can tape through VCR

You need a tuner to record a different channel while watching TV. The converter box tune to one channel at a time.
