    Nvidia GeForce 9600 GSO

The GeForce 9600 GSO, which is nothing other than a renamed GeForce 8800 GS. Like its predecessor, the 9600 GSO board therefore 96 processor flow speeds to 1375 MHz, the GPU for its part, displaying a frequency of 550 MHz. With a memory bus of 192 bits, is the 9600 GSO with 384MB of video memory cadencée to 1600 MHz. The first cards, such as MSI signed model presented below, are expected to appear on the market during the month of May. Two models 9600 GSO will be offered by MSI. The first should stick fairly closely the specifications recommended by NVIDIA, while the second to differ by offering 768 MB of video memory.

The latest graphics card to come out and confuse everyone is the 9600 GSO, this being 8800 GSs twin brother. I don’t mean twin in the sense that they kind of look pretty similar, but in the identical sense. This IS an 8800 GS! The thing is that not a lot of people know about the 8800 GS with limited companies choosing to jump on board (ASUS and XFX); it really didn’t get much recognition.

Big on performance and easy on the wallet, the NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GSO GPU powers the visual computing experience by offering immersive, extreme high-definition gaming and video.

    Re: Nvidia GeForce 9600 GSO

The GeForce 9600 GSO is not a new card because it is actually the GeForce 8800 GS 384 MB sold under another name. It thus has a G92 GPU burned at 65 nm with 96 stream processors (112 for 8800 GT and 128 for the 8800 GTS and 9800 GTX). The price of the GeForce 9600 GSO should be about 100 euros VAT included store which should make it an interesting card for gamers on a budget.

    Re: Nvidia GeForce 9600 GSO

The outputs proposed by the card are not too exhilarating: there are two putputs in DV-I dual-link, a HDTV and HDCP. Of course, with a GeForce 9600 GPU, it supports the second generation NVIDIA PureVideo HD and CUDA and PhysX. But good. This is not a GTX 285!

These cards are still based on the same architecture as the old 8800. In fact, beyond the name differences between the latest 8800 GT, GS, GTS 512 and 9600 and 9800 can be counted on the fingers of the hand. At the point where Nvidia is expected to transform the 8800 GS in a brand new 9600 GSO, with a simple stroke of marketing magic wand. This map, overlooked by buyers because relegated to the shadows of the 8800 GT, will then begin a new career in the great family of Geforce 9.
