I don't know much about it But a guess i have which may work for you.. Just Do one thing try setting the second monitor as a primary in the setting Tab..! I hope this work if require the further assistance post here..!

Try creating RDP connection withthe setting you require then create the shorcut for the icon you prefer to open it... & then Try launching it from there..!
To make it full screen See he following code & change it if require...1
and if not require full screen you can change it to the following code :Code:screen mode id:i:2
So now can customize the width & height of the desktop...!Code:screen mode id:i:1
