My friend is having Dell laptop 600 with him from few days his laptop screen gets Dim or some times black whenever he turn ON his laptop. Now when i am trying to start his laptop fro 1 second we are able to see the display on the laptop, but after sometime it's get black out. I think this would be some moisture issue because it's an Rainy season in India.

It might happen that by mistake there would be some changes in BIOS setting. If you don't know then go into BIOS setting over there you will find screen brightness no matter you are connect through power adapter or not. Over here you can adjust the brightness by pressing FN button by pressing plus button.

I have try to do it but still facing same issue and when i told my friend about the same he told me that due to rainy reason you might be facing this issue or some of the capacitor or transformer will be having some issue which i don't think so does anyone has any idea please reply.

It might happen that there would be some kind of connection issue probably a loose connection between your Video cable and Screen inverter. I would suggest you to open up your LCD screen and reconnect all the connection because most of time this would be the issue and if you still having issues then try to show it to local Engineer and he would find the solution.
