Power Save and Blinking problem with Dell 2408 A01

I am facing the power saving and blinking problems with my Dell 2408 A01 monitor. The main problem with this monitor is it recognizes the signal only when I turn ON the monitor before I turn ON my PC.

I normally keep my PC ON and turn off my mointor off if I go out. The power save function on this monitor is also weird. It goes off randomly, blinks in and out when I am working in Photoshop or playing a game.
What should I do ? kindly provide any solutions to get rid out of this.......

I was using Nvida 9800GT and sometimes blinking of a screen happens with my monitor as well. When I first turn ON the monitor and then the main Power, it will be fine. Then it blinks for a second at random times and then be fine for the rest of the day. Well, I too agree that the power save mode is horrible in this monitor. I think it's too sensitive.

I would suggest you to get an exchange to A02. Dell A02 shouldn't have all this issue. But, the only way to get A02 is for Dell support to setup a NEW exchange. If they setup a USED exchange, you will get A01.
Feel free to tell tour problem to the Dell technician..

To get an exchange for your corrupted AO1 and get the new AO2 is the best possible solution which is given by Killer.
But according to the company's policy, if your AO1 is just 21 days old, then only you will get the new AO2 in exchange of AO1. If it's more than 21 days, then they will provide you AO1 itself.
