    Sharp AQUOS LC-20DX1 20-inch LCD HDTV

    Sharp will launch next month its AQUOS LC-20DX1, part of its DX series, a 20-inch LCD HDTV that comes equipped with integrated Blu-ray burner and record to Blu-ray or DVD and BD playback software is easy, with acclaimed user-friendly operation.

    It's features 1366×768 resolution, 1500:1 contrast ratio, 450cd/m2 briggthness, and 176-degree viewing angle. It records video with MPEG2 or MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 codec. The HDTV has two HDMI inputs.


    Sharp’s new Blu-ray equipped HDTV is available in Black (LC-20DX1-B) and White (LC-20DX1-W).

    The lack of a 1080p-capable LCD panel makes the built-in Blu-ray reader in the LC-20DX1 utterly pointless. Actually the entire LC-20DX1 concept is pointless. Unless Blu-ray comes out with 720p titles.
