Double horizontal lines on lcd monitor

Hello,

I have an viewsonic lcd which gives me double horizontal lines on my lcd monitor, There is a shadow like image to the left of each image and after sentences / lines of text but not with individual letters of text. I changed out the display card many times with no success I dont know what to check to see what's going on.

I think your LCD panel is defective. Try the monitor on a different computer and/or try a different monitor on your computer. Unplug it from the computer and see if they go away.If the problem follows the monitor, then you need a new one. If it is under warranty get it replaced.If it follows the computer then you may need a new graphics card.

Do these lines look really fine and multicolored with no obvious pattern, scattered all over the monitor screen ? you need to check if it is the LCD that has a problem or it is caused by your video card and video driver. So first things first, try to check the LCD if it is good by plugging it on a different computer. also try changing the power supplies to the monitors. i hope it helps.
