    Windows 7 on CRT Monitors

I was not sure ,,, I do not know if it comes from the graphics drivers or drivers screen (most likely). I have two CRT a DELL and Acer and Windows 7 for I do not know why they are restrained at 1024 * 768 for frequencies up to 85Hz. And does not more than 1152 * 864 but at 60Hz which stings the eyes.
Under XP both amounts to 1280 * 1024 and the frequency drops to 60Hz above 1280 * 800 for Dell and 1280 * 960 for the Acer.

Here it's just whether it is "normal" or not, thank you for your attention

    I will share my experience, I have two monitors in DualView 1 crt = Samsung SyncMaster 753s 17 "which goes from 800x600 to 1280x1024, 85 Htz 32-bit true color. 2 = F730 Eizo 19 "which goes from 800x600 to 2048x1536, 85 Htz (choice between 60 and 150)
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5600, I installed the drivers and monitors cate. This works well.

Council uninstall drivers maps, see map to install vista driver if any, and driver display.

I am having the same problem with a dual monitor setup with a hp p1230 that performes at 140 hz and a samsung 19" lcd. I went and downloaded the driver for my particular monitor (attempting to unlock the higher frequencies). It did not seem to fix the problem. I am running windows 7 and a geforce 260. I am hoping to run 3d stereo.
