Cannot use Camcoder to view images on Desktop computer

I'm having a Radeon 9600 video card on my system. Just few days back i had purchased a Camcorder. It works fine on my laptop, but when i try to view the recorded videos on my desktop screen i cannot view the picture on the screen. However, i'm able to get sound but can't see any picture on my desktop screen. Can any body tell me that why i'm having such problem on my system? Does any body knows about this issue? Kindly help me out to get rid of the above issue.

It sounds like basic overlay problem on your system. I think you need to reset the default settings in advanced options on the graphics card under overlaying. That will help you to resolve your problem.

You need to know the proper codecs for the camera,before you edit your videos. Also check out whether you have the proper codec for your Camcoder on your system.

I think it might be the problem with your Radeon 9600 video card. Try to install the latest drivers for the manufaturer website.
