Sapphire Radeon HD 4890 Atomic, 1GHz for the core

"The well-known producer partners AMD is ready to market its own version of the Vapor-x ATI Radeon HD 4890, with an operating frequency of 1GHz GPU equal"

Vapor-X is the name that Sapphire is the technology behind his own family of graphics cards for high-end market. Video cards that start at a normal GPU which is placed a heatsink that uses a combination of technologies and vapor chamber heat sink, can be much more effective than a normal heatsink. Sapphire has long used this particular system on many of the video cards, all series, from the normal Vapor-x, standard models with only the heatsink to differentiate from those reference solutions, up to Atomic, the model aims sold with frequencies outside the operating standard.

Sapphire thus expand their range by introducing the model Atomic Radeon HD 4890, recently launched by AMD in the market: the new video card, with frequencies of non-standard operation, began to appear on some sites on-line information. Particularly impressive are the frequencies of operation with which this card will be placed on the market, it comes to 1000MHz for the core and 4200MHz for the memories. To achieve this result, Sapphire is over-volting use of the card, changing, in fact the food necessary for GPU: Radeon HD 4890 Atomic is characterized by two power connections, one at 6 and a 8-pole, unlike the standard version, which has two connections to 6 pole.

The card, according to the sources, should reach the market during the next week, at a price which at the time was not yet confirmed.

Then the specifications of the new ATI 5870 that up to now we have heard ... more than ever to be taken in the spring ... and really hope ATI confirm what they say, if not, nvidia will continue to grow, and you will be returned to the point where is a house competition and the Law on the price! I refer primarily to those theoretical frequencies, the 5870 was around 1100 MHz for the core and 5000 MHz for the RAM ... Hopefully!

But it is very confirm that with the 1GHz core there would be more fun in handling the PC,then there would be no need to wait for the process to get completed and to start with the new one.
