Someone who has tried to play xbox 360 on a 22" screen with 2ms and 1650 1080 resolution? Works the best?

Have myself xbox 360, but if it has HDMI / VGA, it should run in 1280x720
Works excellent. Run myself PS3 with HDMI -> DVI adapter and works lovely.
Ok, two pc dvi, but it has a cable with HDMI <----> dvi.
Must have a test.
How do you do with audio and stuff then? Have someone had bad track on this?
In fact, have just such a setup at home and it works great.
Has a 360-VGA cable between the xbox and my SynMaster Samsung 226BW's VGA input (PC'n on DVI) And with the new dashboard (NXE) so you can actually select 1680x1050 resolution (it presents itself to the black stripes, so that the aspect ratio is correct (all 360 games are in 16:9, but 1680x1050 is 16:10) is also possible to select 1280x1024 with widescreen option, then the aspect ratio close to the right and cover the whole image, but it is not native (a bit blurred as barely noticeable to a trained eye. Had it setup in almost 2 years before NXE came out last fall.
For sound you need some different stuff depending on how your audio setup is and what you prefer, lists close options here:
- The computer's line-up of speakers connected to your computer:
2xRCA a female to a male 3.5mm stereo plug.
- Direct to the speakers:
2xRCA a female to a 3.5mm stereo plug female
- To receive the digital in. (also known as the home theater amplifier)
a standard Toslink optical cable with male at both ends (this gives the surround sound of very good quality!
Note that it is difficult to get surround sound if you only have a normal surround kit to the computer which is connected with three stereo plug straight into your computer's sound card. When required a rather sophisticated sound card with digital in, which can convert the audio to analog and then send it to the speakers. Or that your suroundkit have digital in, which only the best packages are.
Hope this helped, and that no one takes offense to me on this thread.
