Acer P244WB 24" Widescreen Monitor

I am getting this 24" Acer P244wb widescreen monitor. Is this a good computer. This computer has HDMI. I will need DVI to HDMI converter so that I can plug the card into this monitor. So should I go for this? Is HDMI better than DVI? Also it has 2ms response time! I have read much about this and I am considering this to buy.

Bought one last week. Best investment in ages. Tv shows are running full screen, which is a beauty big upgrade from my 17".

The only thing i could question is, the colours seem abit dry, less vibrant, but nothing to leave me unhappy. There are different modes and applications to try correct this.

Overall for that price I'm rapt.

I don't see why not, one of the main reasons they have speakers is the HDMI input. Check some reviews around the net, they should be able to clear up that questions.

I am mainly interested in 1:1 pixel mapping because there are some older games etc that don't do 1920 x 1080 and I don't really weant them distorted into 16:9, so I would still be interested to know if it does 1:1 as the monitor sounds fine for what I need otherwise.

More expensive, more connections supported, 16:10 ratio with built-in scaling. One review i've seen says there's overscan thru HDMI on the Dell, that's not the case with the acer.
