Display settings locks itself

I am the happy owner of a Dell Precision M4300. Here in the last three weeks I have seen that my graphics settings locks firmly on a particular setting and not allow itself to move?

Graphics card is Nvidia Quadro FX 360M

I Docket my PC using my 2x24" display from Samsung. The strange thing is that when I swap the screens around, it change the resolution and lock settings. I can only lock up again, make a rollback to a previous restore point? This happens now every time I use my PC without the docking?

Are there others who have experienced similar or have an idea for a solution.

Did you update drivers for 3 weeks ago for example. Try to install the old one again. The screens are the same model? If not, it may be you put them in reverse?

The screens are the same model, I have not updated the graphics driver, but maybe it was not a stupid idea to go after. I could check if it was possible to go back to a previous graphics driver. I would just look a little on the possibility.

You can try to reinstall the driver without the role back.

Are you running Windows XP?
Try to remove your hardware profiles and create them again. Sometimes these profiles mess up with themselves.

When you find out, so to do. My Windows XP at work doing lock up in my display settings every day - how do I get it locked?

(At least twice a day should I activate the screen 2 is slightly different which of them it is.)
