    Unable to set monitor to 1920x1080

    hi,
    I got a new Sony WEGA KLV-S19A10 19-Inch LCD monitor,It has a native resolution of 1920x1080, but I can't set this resolution in the monitor properties screen.but when I try to set Guild Wars to 1920x1080, the screen simply flashes several times, then the game comes back with Your video hardware or driver does not support this setting.Does anyone know what causes this issue and how to fix it? Any help will be extremely appreciated.

    The problem most likely is with the display adapter on your laptop/pc. the refresh rate is driven by that, not by the game itself. Make sure you have the latest drivers installed.

    You can not set your resolution 1920x1080,if that monitor doesn't support it. If you don't have the option to set your resolution to 1920x1080 then search for a new driver for that monitor and download it. Once you download the new driver from the brand of your monitor or PC's website you should see a resolution of 1920x1080 in your settings.

    Tribal Trouble's configuration is stored in a file called "settings" which is placed in the TribalTrouble folder located in your user's folder. Open the Windows Explorer and locate this folder - by default it is C:\Documents and Settings\Username\TribalTrouble where Username is your Windows username. Depending on what language version your Windows is, or if you didn't install the game in the suggested path, you may have to look elsewhere (use Windows Search to locate the TribalTrouble folder).

    Once you have found the "settings" file, right-click on it and select Open. Windows now presents you with a list of programs you can try to open the file with - select Notepad. You can now edit the file; add the following lines:
    use_vbo=false
    use_fbo=false
    use_pbuffer=false

    Save the file when you are done, and try running Tribal Trouble again.
