Gigabyte 9800 GTX+ 1GB freezes repetitively

I am having Gigabyte 9800 GTX+ 1GB, replaced with my 7950. But after I installed Warhammer online test (1024 x 768), the result is worse than my 7950 with the same graphics options. It freezes repetitively even in very low quality. I'm using the latest nvidia drivers. Even tried the version that comes with the card the result is almost the same.

On other games like Pure or Cod4 runs very well, e.g. 1280 x 1600 full quality

I imagine that Warhammer takes more resources than these games, but from there to do worse than with 7950

Under 3dmark 2006, I am getting 7600 point, terrible. I even tried to overclock card with Gamer HUD software and passed the card 807 (gpu)/2000 (shader)/1150 (memory)

My config:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 (2.13 Ghz) no overclock
2 GB of RAM
Asus P5B
Antec 430 Watt power supply

I wonder if my config could not be a little light? Has anyone ever had a problem like that? Is what it could come from the power supply that is not powerful enough?

For the 3dmark 2006, score is normal; it's your cpu to the limit, look at the scores you listed and that has a 2.13 GHz CPU

For freezes, install the latest Forceware, if only on a single game, it does not mean it is defective, try to put the latest patches of the game in question, if not already

Overclocked your cpu already. Otherwise it is not normal that you freeze in the warhammer online, it is an engine that dates back 10 years.

In my opinion it is a problem of drivers, windows has not digested the transition from one card to another, may be the shit in the registry.

Also may be weak or failing power supply.

Tests to increase the voltage of your pci-e in the bios if you can.

I think it is a default of your video card.
