Which one is better ?
Dell Studio 15 is now being shipped with the latter...whereas Studio 17 comes with the former..I am unable to decide which one to buy...no performance details of 4570 have been provided on notebookcheck.net..

The new HD 4570 GPU will be offered as an option on the Dell Studio 15. The 4500 series of ATI's graphics chips also includes the 4530 model, and both have 80 stream units to keep both energy use and their price low. The chips have AMD's full DirectX 10.1/OpenGL 2 effects support, hardware movie decoding and general-purpose GPU calculations. The chips have programmed-in power saving software and have the ability to switch to the integrated graphics chipset when their performance is not needed.

Yes there are no reviews for the card yet! You can wait for some time for the review to come but IF you want to go for one of these cards right now then I must say go for the HD 4570 card!

Thank you guys for your prompt replies...I googled a bit more on this topic and decided to buy the Studio 17....all the info you all provided really helped...
the HD 3650 has a 128 bit memory bus and 120 unified pipelines...whereas HD 4570 has only got a 64 bit memory bus and 80 unified pipelines..these two differences helped me make my decision...

i bought dell studio 15.6" laptop
and it is 512mb ATI HD 4570
i found that the resolution is 13xx x 768
it looks very big, how can i get higher resolution so icons or screen can be smaller?

i googled a bit and upgraded latest driver from dell is still the same
