    Hello,

The AGP slot is often (but wrongly) described as being device 0 on Bus 1, I don't think an AGP card has the option to 'run in PCI mode' it has to use the AGP bus, there is no alternative.I am sure your card is running on the AGP bus at the required speed, you could always benchmark it and compare your result to like built systems to give you an idea as to its capabilities, a PCI running card would be a considerable way slower than a similar AGP card.

There are Chances that if you are using an AGP card, you are using the AGP bus... If the initial display in the bios is set to PCI, the "Bus" will be displayed as PCI in the Nvidia properties.

To Check Whether Your card is Running in AGP mode or not follw this:
    1. Run DXDiag and see if "AGP Texture acceleration" is enabled
    2. Look for the PCI-to-AGP bridge under System in the Device Manager

If You have Via Chipset this what you try to solve your problem

    1. 1. Download the VIA HyperionPro 5.10A drivers from VIA Arena.
    2. 2. Extract all the files into a folder.
    3. 3. Install it and then reboot.
    4. 4. Check your card whether it's in AGP or PCI mode with RivaTuner.
4.1. Go to Low-level system settings.
4.2. There should be AGP tab, if it isn't, continue.
    5. 5. Go to device manager.
    6. 5. Click plus at system devices.
    7. 6. Find CPU to AGP or similar.
    8. 7. Double-click on it, properties window should appear.
    9. 7.1. Driver tab and then Update driver...
    10. 8. Check 'Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)' and then click Next.
    11. 9. Check 'Don't search. I will choose the driver to install.' and then click Next.
    12. 10. Click 'Have Disk...' and then 'Browse...'
    13. 11. Go to where the HyperionPro extracted > viaagp folder > DRIVER folder > open the folder with your OS's name > select VIAAGP1.inf (VIAAGP1).
    14. 12. Click OK and then click Next.
    15. 13. Wait until it done copying and then click Finish.
    16. 14. Reboot.
    17. 15. Check again using step 4.1 and 4.2.

    Download coolbit From Here

Coolbits 2 unleashes hidden function within ForceWare drivers, it enables several new Direct3d and OpenGL configuration tabs, and even more tweaking capability from the nVidia taskbar settings panel. This new coolbits registry hack has some new items in it that are interesting for sure. This .reg file was created and thus is courtesy by rewt, he did a nice job for sure.
Unpack the achive (self extracting) and then in the setup directory simply click on the .reg file. To get to these options simply right-click on your desktop and go to 'NVIDIA Analog Display' (Win XP/2003). For Win 2000 and lower you may need to get to the Nvidia Control Panel the old way. Right click desktop > Properties > Settings > Advanced > GeForce xxxx

using these software you can set agp card in to agp mode hope it Help you

You'll find the problem in your system BIOS. Reboot yourcomputer and tap whatever key you use to get to yoursystem setup (typically it's the 'DEL' key or maybe 'F10',it should give you an option. It gets a bit fuzzy here because all mobo BIOS are a bitdifferent, but just tab through all your options and look
for something that gives you a video rendering option. You should only have 2 options, either AGP or PCI. Select AGP, save and exit, then reboot. That should cover i
