Blank Desktop or no desktop after logging to Windows XP

Hi,
I am facing an issue with my PC.Early everything was working fine,but now when ever i am trying to start my PC i am getting a Blank screen.Can anyone help me out with this issue.I would be great full to that person.

Did u try to update the display drivers and had check about the virus scan.try to interchange monitor and Cabinet with another PC.

I have tried to do all the things it working fine.

It would be might your Pc is being Affected by Virus try to follwo this steps and it would work.

1. Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE, and then click Task Manager.
   
2. On the File menu, click New Task (Run).
   
3. Type cmd.exe, and then press ENTER.
   
4. If necessary, change to the %SystemRoot% folder.
   
5. Rename the Shdocvw.dll file by typing ren shdocvw.dll shdocvw.old.
   
6. Restart the computer.
