ASUS VH226H Monitor problem

Hi

When I switch my monitor to HDMI instead of going into sleep mode when the computer sleeps or turns off, a blue screen appears saying "no HDMI signal". Is there a setting or something to allow the monitor to go into sleep mode rather than displaying this message?

i get a somewhat similar problem too when using HDMI port on this monitor, when im playing PS3 and turn off the PS3 i have to turn off the monitor and turn it back on to be able to view anything.
