MSI GeForce 8600GTS and dual monitor trouble

Hi all,

My 8600GTS have two outputs that is VGA and DVI. But PC boots up only with VGA output. Its works with DVI output when windows XP startup .

why ?

Because when the driver is loaded and enables the second display. Whichever the primary display is will work in VESA compliance mode without drivers. It doesn't matter if it's plugged into DVI or VGA. Your primary display seems to be plugged into the VGA port. You can change this in the display settings.

But my 8600GTS VGA port is connected to HDTV, DVI port is connected to LCD,can i change primary display from VGA to DVI on boot-up ?

7xxx serial video card boot-up dual monitor all output, 8xxx card diff it ?

Change it to the primary display in Windows.
