Problem connecting 9600GT DVI to Philips HD HDMI

Hello, I can not display the Windows desktop on my TV Philips 5603H with a DVI connector - HDMI.
The TV I always gives the following errors:
No signal or unsupported format.
But the picture appears and then disappears very furtively from time to time. I tried all possible resolutions.

The worst is that my old PC with a X850XT works perfectly.

Hi,
Look at what frequency the signal is sent. Some LCD support higher frequencies So at least down to 60Hz.

Did you try the 2 DVI ports ?

I had same problem, with my ATI it was impossible to make a dual screen windows, while Linux is just plug the screen

The only time the dual screen for Windows, was during the boot sequence (the command line when you start the PC).

Otherwise I continue to look ....

Re: Problem connecting 9600GT DVI to Philips HD HDMI

To be more clear on the configuration:

Motherboard MSI P45
Intel E8400
2gb RAM PC8500
2 DD Samsung F1 750 GB Raid 1
Power: 450W Corsair
9600GT graphics card
Blu-ray Pioneer BDC-202BK
Windows XP Pro SP3

If I uninstall the graphics card and I reboot the PC to the TV screen single image I have, but in very low resolution of course. when the driver is installed, more than image.

The problem is the same regardless of the DVI port that I use.

I do not know too much about Nvidia display manager, but look inside, there must be an option that prevents you from making a dual-screen.
With ATI, it is a function of automatic screens that can be adapted to the specific configuration of the screen. Look in your configuration Nvidia control panel and see if there is an option ....

Hello,
I really think meet an incompatibility between Nvidia and TV Philips.

When I reinstall my old X850XT it works fine except that I can not use my blu-ray drive (it does not support HDCP). It is for this reason that I chose the 9600GT!

Re: Problem connecting 9600GT DVI to Philips HD HDMI

To solve this problem the only solution seems to be possible to change your graphics cards brand. spend on ATI, Nvidia does not appear to develop new drivers for this problem.
and changing the resolution or refresh will do nothing.
