ASUS v9520/TD GeForce FX 5200

With Windows XP, I had to reinstall the driver for my Asus V9520/TD graphics card. The list of drivers and updates available for that card on the Asus support site is so long that I had difficulty identifying the right driver to download.

I finally opted for the driver Ver 81.89 for Win 2000/Win XP which is the most recent listed and I assume cumulates all the previous versions.

I installed the driver following the instructions given in the Readme file in the downloaded folder. But after installation, on checking the Display Adapter driver’s details in Device Manager, I find that the driver’s Version mentioned there is 4.4.0.3 and the driver’s date is 2003-05-02. ( Not corresponding at all with those of the downloaded driver)

Can anyone please explain this: Did I install the wrong driver ? Did the installation fail ?

I also get the same problem.I have Asus V9520 v44.03 video card but I lost my original disk. now I up grade my pc but I can't run proper that video card because of no driver file. I try to used different vision but it's doesn't work. pc is reboot over and over. how can I get original vision dirver v44.03.

If so, why not try the most recent driver for that card from nvidia? Here's a link for you:
