    Problem of reading High-definition video

    I encounter a problem reading High-definition video (1080p 40-50 giga). My config:
    - Asus P5B Deluxe Wifi AP
    - Intel 6600 Dual core
    - 4 GB of RAM Corsair
    - Msi 7950 Gt
    - Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum
    etc ...

I read my videos with power DVD 7.3 with the latest update done recently CoreAVC.

So far no concern. Recently my CPU rises to 100% and inevitably the image stutters, and cutting plant. I really do not understand, I also have the latest drivers from nvidia beta

For HD videos, I advise you to use KMPlayer

I am also using it to read my DVD, however. I find it really great, this drive, with 10,000 options.

Thank you I will try, but I don't think it is the problem of player since I came to read my last videos that I used. What intrigues me a little more is the rising of CPU to 90-100%, may be not normal. Is it because of too much processes is in operation which is slowing my machine, ram? HDD?

This is caused by low-level digital video signals dropping in and out. It's often fixable, assuming the problem isn't originating at the cable or satellite headend, or at a TV broadcast station.

To fix this: Ask your cable or satellite installer to check if DTV signals are strong enough for your set-top box. If they're too wimpy, a commercial-quality inline amplifier will provide the missing oomph. If you receive digital TV signals off-air, install a preamplifier at the antenna to boost signal strength.
