"EVGA and Inno3D few weeks ahead of the debut of the first video card NVIDIA top of the range based on production technology to 55 nanometers"
Is approaching the market debut of the first video card series NVIDIA GeForce GTX 200-based manufacturing technology to 55 nanometers, that is tied to the GPU known as the codename of GT200b.
The first cards are models GeForce GTX 260 with 216 stream processors, is proposed by EVGA that Inno3D alternative solutions to their GP with a 65-nanometer manufacturing technology. These cards do not implement architectural differences to the solutions to 65 nanometers, but they allow room for overclocking default very high overall.
EVGA is about to launch the marketing of 3 distinct versions of card Geforce GTX 260 to 216 stream with a 55-nanometer technology, the EVGA model 896-P3-1255-AR is characterized by the specific default for NVIDIA these cards (576 MHz core, 1242 MHz shader and 1998 MHz memory). To solve Superclocked EVGA 896-P3-1257-AR is greatly increased frequency (626 MHz core, 1350MHz shader and 2106 MHz memory) while leading in a third version of the family with SSC clock frequencies even higher.
Inno3D has started marketing in Japan of its GeForce GTX 260 216SP overclocked, with which the use of technology to 55 nanometers is also clearly indicated on the card through a screen printing. The clock frequencies are equal to 620 MHz for the GPU and 2100 MHz to 896 Mbytes of GDDR3 video memory, while not specified what the clock frequency of stream processors.
We recall that NVIDIA will present at the CES 2009 in Las Vegas beginning of January, its new family of video cards with top-range GPU to 55 nanometers. We will find solutions and GeForce GTX 285, a single GPU that those GeForce GTX 295 GPU to two proposals by the American producer of such top range solutions.
