Divx Converter: 8 hours for a movie?

Guys I'm using the Divx covertire Coverter for a movie in MPEG2 5.5 Gb.
I set as settings: HD720 limit of 800MB of space.
But there is putting nearly 8 hours!
    But is this normal?

    What settings you use?

    I set as settings: HD720
Circumstances that do not use such a converter, but to convert a DVD-video in HD?
It may be normal, given the high resolution.

the Divx Converter me like settings: HD720, HD1080; QMOBILE Mobile, Home Theater.
    Nothing else.

Among other things, the result is rather poor.

I mean it is normal that in HD, and putting 800MB, is bad ..
If you are a normal mpeg2 dvd, try to choose Home theater, and give it 1 GB of space.
