Collevo has just rolled out its waterproof IP65 LCD monitor, making it suitable for outdoor use. Chances are pretty good that this will remain a commercial appliance more than one for the home, although it won't be ruled out by rich folks who want something different in their backyard. Featrues of the IP65 include :-

• 1,366 x 768 resolution (for 26", 32" and 40" models)
• 1,920 x 1,080 resolution (for 42" model)
• 1,500:1 contrast ratio
• Operational in temperatures of up to 50 degrees centigrade

The front panel, top and rear sides have been specially sealed to prevent rainfall from seeping in, although it isn't much fun trying to catch a game on TV when it is pouring outdoors - the noise from the raindrops will surely interfere with your enjoyment.

The sealing rating of IP65 front panel and water-proof of top and rear sides are designed to protect against rainfall spray for outdoor purpose.

IP65 comes in sizes of 26-inch, 32-inch, and 40-inch with 1366x768 resolution, and 42-inch with 1920x1080 resolution. The product features contrast ratio up to 1,500:1, and operating temperatures up to 50 degrees centigrade.
