I have a video card ati Sapphire Radeon 9550 256MB, 128 bit. I wanted to spend some time to play any game, the computer locks up, what is strange is that it will not be just black, or I get a blue screen, but the screen is turned off for a moment (less than 1 second ), And then displayed a series of vertical lines of different colors, which occupies the entire screen. It started some time ago and it had not been given much attention because after a couple of times and worked, but now to launch any game in 3d, not enough to charge the first screen of the game and the computer crashes. I'm pretty sure that it is only with 3D graphics, even in the ATITools, the monitors show the test (planes on a rotating 3d) passes the same.
I have tried to change drivers, had put the latest version of omega drivers when it started the problem, I changed to an earlier version of the omega and then tried to those which came with the cd.
The configuration of my pc is as follows:
Motherboard ASUS P5P800
Pentium 4 CPU 2.93Ghz (516 I)
Kingston 1024MB RAM (2x512MB)
VGA ATI Radeon 9550 256mb 128bit,
Source ISO 500D (450W I think)
