Clouded in Counter Strike Source with new NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT

My problem is that the picture in counter strike source is worse with the new NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT graphics card than it was with my previous NVIDIA GeForce 7800GT.

    Specs:
    Operating System: Windows VISTA 64-bit
Video card: NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT 512MB
    Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 3.00GHz
    Motherboard: ASUS P5N-E SLI
    RAM: 2GB DDR2
    250GB hard drive

The strange part is that all the drivers for the video card and the motherboard is up-to-date. I can see that there is little "clouded" far away in the game. So I need help from you guys.

You need to set up something called 'anisotropic filter'. If you are struggling with choppy edges also, you can put on the 'anti-aliasing'. It will solve all such problems.

Thanks for the reply but, the problem is that I don't know how to do so. Can someone say something about how I can change anisotropic filtering and anti-aliasing in Counter Strike Source.

In CSS, go to "Options" -> "Video" -> "Advanced...". Under "Antialiasing mode", select "4x MSAA" and under "Filtering mode" select "Anisotropic 8x". You can also try 8x AA / 16x AF.

Have you installed the latest drivers? Download it from the NVIDIA site itself.
