pci graphics card

I replaced an ISA card with a PCI graphics card .

Problem after 1 minute or the screen goes black or it freezes and I can not do anything

I have deleted the old map "panel config ..." and installed the new drivers with adequate (for Win 98 SE)

I especially do not understand that then I tried with another PCI graphics card and have the same problem.

Is that it comes from connecting PCI or should I update my motherboard (formated recent) ... I do not know

when you start in Safe Mode the problem persists (F8 key before Windows loads, select "safe mode")

I had a test in Safe mode and it works.

- Also when I am in normal mode after loading windows I have the following message:

Ok so it is a problem of either driver is a problem of the card. I think the driver because you have a message saying you parameters are not correct.

Did you do a Windows Update to verify that your Windows 98SE is up to date (in the hope that it is always possible for Windows 98SE)?

It may lack a patch to correctly recognize the card or the update you provide a generic driver for your card.
