Monitor turning off playing games with gamepads in Windows Vista

hello i use windows vista n i use torrents to download old movies so my computer has to run for several hours so i set display settings to turn off monitor after 10 minutes but later on when i was playing a game with my game pad monitor switched off after 10 minutes which never happened in xpsp2 so please guide me how to correct this problem?

Actually there is no immediate remedy for this as neither keyboard or mouse is used while while you are playing and hence vista thinks that there is no activity hence Monitor goes in sleep mode.

For time, only solution is that disable Power Saving while playing games.
