Dual screen or widescreen?

Hello,

I have a screen 19 "(not 16/9eme) and I want to move to something bigger.

I hesitate between two choices:

1) bought a second screen 19 "format 4 / 3 to make a dual screen.
2) Buy a screen 22-24 inches.

The dual screen me as much trying to put my movies on a screen and have another screen to surf at the same time, but as this technique is not immensely popular, I suppose that there are any disadvantages ? (I have not found).

I have a PC (2months) with a HD3870 (including both logical solutions should turn (no games greedy).

Indeed yes, but the aesthetic side that I put off to take a screen size different from mine. I fear that a wide screen 22 "and a 4:3 19" are very strange side by side. (the pc is in my room).
