Re: A dead pixels

Each pixel is composed of three sub-pixels (red, green and blue) that can display all 256 levels of light, giving 16 777 216 colors per pixel (256x256x256)! A single sub-pixel can be defective. If all three are out of service, the pixel itself is dead. It is either extinct or light permanently.

Re: A dead pixels

That's a stuck pixel. If this is brand new, try contacting the seller immediately to see if they will exchange it. Some have policies that wouldn't let you, but others have more comprehensive customer satisfaction guarantees that don't exclude LCD monitors.

Re: A dead pixels

t depends on how dead they are..
If they are totally dead nothing can be done, but if they are just weird and different (stuck) running a video or something on that line that has very bright colours and flashes can free them up.
I used this for my PSP

Hope this helps
