    vga problem

    Hello, khan some one help me.

    Ai have a new mother board Gigabyte GA-EP45T-DS3 (PCIe 2.0 x16), no vga on board.

    Video card Gigabyte Geforce 8500 GT (PCIe x16, GDDR2)

    After installing my hardware a khan not get any singal on my monitor.

    Is there some thing wrong in the hardware configuration or bad hardware?

    Are you sure all the connections are proper?
    If you not getting any signal on monitor then you should check your RAM first.
    See your RAM is compatible with your motherboard or not. Which RAM you are using? DDR1 or DDR2? See the copatibility with your motherboard. Good luck.

    Your motherboard which is Gigabyte GA-EP45T-DS3 Unfortunately has some compatibility issues. Unless you told me Exact Configuration of Pc. i cannot tell What is the problem with your Pc. but most probably your Graphic card may not be compatible.

    Did you tried using another monitor? Also as said before please mention your computer configuration so that we can help you in a better way.

    RAM is ok a guess
    The monitor 'works' on my laptop


    configuration

    - Gigabyte GA-EP45T-DS3
    - Core 2 Quad Q9300
    - Video card Gigabyte GV-NX85T512HP
    - DIMM 4 x 1 GB DDR3-1066 (only 1gig installed on the motherboard)
    - Sata300 Harddisk

    vga problem

    Hi fread84 just confirm your RAM on another PC. Other wise take a advantage of warranty period.
