TFT Response time

Hi i am looking to buy a new TFT monitor.
The main reason to buy it is for online gaming. The most of the monitors seems to have a response time of 5ms. My question is is 5ms response time is enough for fps gaming like CS etc or should i spend more money and should go for 2ms response time TFT. Any suggestions as early as possible will be helpfull . Thanks in advance.

Go for monitor which provides refresh rates of 60Hz to 70Hz.The 5ms will be quite enough for online gaming like CS.
I don't think so 2ms will be good to buy.The problem with the 2ms is that they provide lower image quality due to the overdrive used to achieve the low response time and 6bit color panels.

As obvious 2ms TFT monitor will always be better than 5ms TFT monitor. 5ms will be enough but it there is not enough price difference then you can opt for 2ms TFT monitor.

Anything less then 16ms and you cannot tell the difference. Human eyes are very poor. Does not matter if the monitor is 2ms or 16ms.

It doesn't make difference that you going for 2ms or 5ms only the hardcore gamer can say the difference.
