    Hi,
    Yes, you can put Graphic card in your Laptop to play simple games as well as demanding computer games, if at all your Laptop is not Burdened with the high end applications running.
    There are number of Graphic cards available in the market, but whenever you will try to buy the graphic card you just give the idea to the retailer about your Laptop specifications(which Brand laptop), tell your requirement about the games according to that he will suggest you the Graphic card.

    cheers

    Hi,
    In your laptop, there are several computer chips. One of these is responsible for making the pictures you see on the screen. The chip that does that is called a video graphics card. The word card refers to the fact that in desktop PCs, the video chips sit on a separate card that is inserted into the main computer. In notebooks, the video chip is hard-wired with the rest and you can’t change it.

    Graphics cards in general are only of importance to those who are interested in a laptop used for gaming. Even the least powerful graphics card will do everything you could want to do, including watching DVDs, or playing simple games

    There are three major manufacturers of graphics cards
    ATI,Intel,nVidia

    Low end dedicated cards include the ATI Mobility Radeon, ATI Mobility Radeon 7500, ATI Mobility Radeon 9000, ATI Mobility Radeon 9200, nVidia GeForce 4 Go Series, nVidia GeForce FX Go 5200 -- These parts have actually been virtually eclipsed performance-wise by modern IGP parts. The GMA 900/950 and the Radeon Xpress 200M can offer comparable performance to these older dedicated parts.

    ATI Mobility Radeon X300:

    * DirectX Level: DirectX 9
    * Pipelines: 4 Pipelines
    * Memory Configurations: 64-bit/128-bit; 32MB (w/ HyperMemory), 64MB, 128MB

    nVidia GeForce Go 6200 and 6400:

    * DirectX Level: DirectX 9c
    * Pipelines: 4 Pipelines
    * Memory Configurations: 64-bit width; 32MB (128MB after TurboCache) / 64MB (256MB after TurboCache)

    A 64MB Mobility Radeon 9600 should be considered the bare minimum for the casual gamer.

    ATI Mobility Radeon 9700:

    * DirectX Level: DirectX 9
    * Pipelines: 4 Pipelines
    * Memory Configurations: 128-bit; 64MB, 128MB
