3dfx Voodoo graphics card

I heard something about 3dfx Voodoo graphics card. I am interested to buy a new graphic card for me and I am thinking about this card. But I have also heard that drivers for these graphic cards are not so easily available. Tell me something about these cards and about the drivers as well.

What are these VooDoo graphic cards! I have not heard anything about these cards. Well, I'll like to know about this card. Anybody has it, please tell me.

I have this graphic card. Its 3dfx Voodoo 5 5500 AGP.

The Voodoo 5 5500AGP is the latest graphics card from 3dfx. It also represents something of watershed for the company’s range of graphics cards. In something of a turn around from “Frame rate is king”, this range of products is more “Image quality is king”. Quite a bold step for a company which has been booed by many for sticking with “ugly” 16-bit image quality while all the competitors had moved onto supporting 32-bit colour & large textures.

As you know, 3dfx bought by Nvidia and therefore developed no official drivers for the Voodoo cards.

It can be a problem with certain games on computers with Voodoo graphics card and Windows XP.

The drivers site you provided is not opening. Its showing 'Site Under Re-construction'. I think it will start later. Anyways, thanks for all who replied.
