Palit HD 4670 and HD 4650 series graphics cards

Palit yesterday lifted the veil on four graphics cards based on chips Radeon HD 4600 series. They all have Dual Link DVI and HDMI output for connection to high definition television.

    Palit Radeon HD 4650 Super

The range starts with the Radeon HD 4650 Super which is equipped with 512 MB of RAM and DDR2 operate at frequencies nominal, or 625 MHz for the GPU and 320 stream processors and 1986 MHz memory. The model Radeon HD 4650 Super + shares the same characteristics, except for the amount of memory that jumps to 1 GB DDR2 still. Last model to use this chip, the Radeon HD 4650 Sonic is overclockable and 512 MB of RAM are GDDR3 type, the manufacturer did not release the frequencies used.

Finally, the Radeon HD 4670 Super is distinguished by the presence of four different connectors on its installment. In addition to conventional VGA and DVI connectors, one notices the presence of a true HDMI connector requiring no adapter plus a DisplayPort connector. It is accompanied by 512 MB GDDR3 and operates at nominal frequency of 750 MHz processors and 2000 MHz memory.

The manufacturer has announced no availability date nor any rate, remains to be watched afterwards.

I am myself hardware vendor, and it's crazy how many people ask me graphics cards with 1GB ... I killed to explain to people that 1GB is not necessarily better than 512MB, but it is not easy to explain them.
